How it all came to be…

School eHealth Initiatives

The proposed school eHealth Initiatives project is the one which offers a linkage between local school health nurse and specialists at the remote next level health facility in terms of the following services:

  1. Tele-consultation services (TCS) for children attending School for diagnosis, treatment, and referral services.
  2. eLearning services for parents in form of online health education sessions, where expert nurses and physicians conduct a series of online awareness sessions At least once during the school year, or when needed for school parents.

CureHealth Technology as technology partners for these initiatives has been contributing to promote the acceptance of Telehealth all over Saudi Arabia. By providing health care access to children attending School and offering the learning session to parents of these children.

The eHealth project looks forward to reducing the financial and geographical limitation of the community for the access to required health services, and referral centers and lack of awareness among parents about children health problem

How does school-based telemedicine work?

That’s not to say that school nurses need a degree in technology to operate telemedicine, in fact it is just the opposite. A properly designed school-based telemedicine system is developed with the school nurse (and their clinical practices) in mind – not an IT professional.  The beauty of school-based telemedicine is its simplicity: Telemedicine in schools is simple and is designed to fit within the normal workflow and mimic a regular check-up or appointment that a child may have with a primary care physician.

Supplies for

School First Aid Kits

These school first aid kits and supplies have been carefully selected and designed with the unique requirements of schools in mind, aiding in the maintenance of health and safety within the school walls. Each of the kits include essential first aid supplies to deal with common injuries that happen at schools and colleges. Ensure you take all the necessary precautions to allow your school to grow in a safe, secure environment.

Telemedicine benefit to children and their parents

Healthcare access for more children

It’s true that school-based medical care isn’t intended to be a substitute for regular care at the hands of a physician. However, in some cases where students have no other access to such services, telemedicine can provide an invaluable benefit to children and their parents, especially in instances where health insurance may not be available.
